A premier institution of magic dedicated to the structured teaching and preservation of the Art of Magic.

───

The Academy of Magic Malaysia is founded in 2010 by Chris Cheong, Malaysia’s top magician and mentalist, the academy was established on a simple belief — that magic should be taught the right way: systematically, purposefully, and with real-world performance in mind.

With it’s headquarters based in Kuala Lumpur, the academy has grown into one of the region’s leading platforms for aspiring magicians, performers, and creatives who are serious about mastering their craft.

The Academy of Magic Malaysia is a subsidiary brand owned entirely by Chris Cheong Mind & Magic (Business registration: 201303092104).

A Philosophy of Mastery

At The Academy of Magic Malaysia, we do not simply teach tricks — we develop magicians.

We deliver world-class magic education that is precise, structured, and grounded in real performance experience.

Magic, as a performance art, requires far more than technique. It demands understanding of presentation, psychology, timing, and audience connection. Our approach focuses on building strong foundations first, before guiding students into specialized disciplines such as stage magic, close-up magic, and mentalism.

We believe every student deserves access to structured, real world tested, and experience-driven knowledge — not fragmented or unproven material.

Learning the art of magic should be both fun and inspiring. At The Academy of Magic Malaysia, we believe that excellence is found in the details — from the subtlest gesture to the grandest illusion.

Our Reach

Over the years, The Academy of Magic Malaysia has nurtured over more than 10,000 students across Asia through private mentorship, international school programs, and corporate workshops.

Our work extends far beyond the academy itself:

  • Partnerships with over 22 international schools across Malaysia.
  • Corporate workshops for leading organizations.

Each student progresses through a carefully designed journey — one that prioritizes consistency, depth of skill, and real-world performance readiness.
